La regolamentazione USA per il volo dei droni (UAV)
Negli USA dal 2013 al 2018 è stato praticamente totalmente vietato far volare i droni in aree pubbliche. Il divieto era in attesa che si concludessero 5 anni di sperimentazioni propedeutiche alla regolamentazione in diversi stati. Alla fine se ne sono usciti con 300 pagine di normativa la cui complessità non è stata ancora oggi ben recepita ma ci troviamo comunque con la possibilità di volare sul territorio americano.
Vi riportiamo una specie di check-list che elenca cosa tenere in conto per volare in sicurezza nello spazio aereo americano.
- Registrare il drone. Tutti i droni devono essere registrati ad eccezione di quelli al di sotto dei 250 grammi e che volano esclusivamente a fini ricreativi (senza fotocamera).
- Altezza massima del volo 120 metri.
- Il volo deve essere LOS (Line Of Sight) e cioè a vista.
- Devi essere a conoscenza delle restrizioni attive in alcune aree. Le aree più comuni dove ci sono delle restrizioni sono:
- Stadi ed eventi sportivi
- In prossimità degli aeroporti (distanze variabili)\
- Aree sensibili (civili o militari)
- Washington, DC
- Rispettare la privacy
- Mai volare vicino ad un altro velivolo
- Mai volare su assembramenti di persone, manifestazioni o luoghi con molta gente
- Mai volare in zone in emergenza (terremoti, incendi, calamità naturali)
- Mai volare sotto l’influenza di alcol o droghe.
